Itinerary For Rainbow Mountain Plus Red Valley 1 Day Hike
We pick you up at 7:00 a.m. and then travel by private transportation for 3 hours to the beginning of the trail, passing through beautiful traditional villages and farming valleys.
The starting point of the hike is located at 4,600 meters above sea level (15,091 ft). From there, we hike to the official viewpoint of the famous Rainbow Mountain, Vinicunca, following a route with some gentle uphill sections and some steeper parts. The viewpoint is located at 5,200 meters above sea level (17,060 ft).
After enjoying the views of Rainbow Mountain and the surrounding snow-capped peaks, we continue hiking to the viewpoint of the Red Mountains, passing through the Red Valley. Then we hike back to the vehicle for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes on a gentle downhill trail.
Afterward, we return to Cusco, traveling for about 3 hours—approximately 1 hour on a dirt road and 2 hours on a paved road. At the end of the trip, we drop you off at your hotel or preferred location.

Book Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley 1 Day Hike Cusco Peru
To confirm your booking, you need to send us a deposit of US$20 through our PayPal account. Please note that PayPal charges a 7% fee on any transfer, which is paid by the sender. For this reason, the total amount you need to send is US$22.

Note: The US$22 deposit is paid via PayPal, and the remaining balance is paid in cash in Cusco, either in US dollars or Peruvian soles, whichever you prefer. Please make sure the final payment is made with clean, undamaged US dollar bills, as torn or damaged bills are not accepted in Peru.
