Itinerary Rainbow Mountain Late Departure Peru
We pick you up at your hotel in Cusco city by 8:am, then we ride our transport for 2 hours on a paved road, then an hour ride on unpaved road, then we arrive at the beginning of the hike, which is located at 4, 600 masl.
Then, we hike 400 hundred meters through a gentle uphill to the viewpoint of the rainbow mountain named Vinicunca, which is located at 5,000 masl.
At the top of the viewpoint of the rainbow mountain, we enjoy the views of the magic stripes of minerals, red valleys, also we see the majestic glacial mountain named Ausangate.
After enjoying the views, we will be back at the car place by hiking gentle downhill for an hour and 30 minutes, then by car ride for an hour to the lunch place, and then still by car ride for 2 hours back to Cusco city by dropping you off a side of the main plaza de Armas in Cusco city.
