Lares trek without guide?

It is much better with a tour guide hiking the Lare Trek in Peru, because there are many routes to hike.

Also, the other problem is if you get sick from high altitude, the only person who can help you is the tour guide, that is the way we bring an oxygen tank for any hiking adventure.
