Rainbow Mountain Peru itinerary hiking trail to Vinicunca Cusco
Pick up time is by 5:am then we ride our private transport for 2 hours through a nice paved road, passing local villages, then we enter on the dirt road and driving for an hour to the beginning of the trail.
The hike is 2 hours uphill with some little gentle parts and it is 8 kilometers (4 miles ), then we arrive tot eh top of this famous rainbow mountain located at 5,200 masl( 17,060ft).
After some photos and some breaks, we are back downhill to the car place, hiking for an hour and 20 minutes, then by car back to Cusco for 3 hours.
Mainly we are back in Cusco city from 4:30 pm to 5:20 pm

Book Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca Peru tour with easy reservation from Cusco
To confirm your booking, you need to send us a deposit of US$20 through our PayPal account. Please note that PayPal charges a 7% fee on any transfer, which is paid by the sender. For this reason, the total amount you need to send is US$22.

How long is the hike to Rainbow Mountain in Peru?
It is 2 hours gentle uphill with some gentle parts to the famous viewpoint, starting the hike from 4,600 masl (15,091ft), and the rainbow mountain viewpoint is located at 5,000 masl (16,404ft).
Then, the way back is an hour with 45 minutes downhill with some gentle parts to the car place, then it is 3 hours by car back to Cusco city.
