How to Drink San Pedro Drink in Sacred Valley Cusco?
Mainly, this drink is recommended at night with a campfire, so the meditation experience is enhanced. First, as soon as you arrive at the ceremonial place and after being greeted by the local shaman, you drink the sacred San Pedro drink. The feeling will begin after about 20 minutes and last for 9 hours, sometimes even up to 12 hours.
It must be a safe place, and you should not leave the place until you feel better and the shaman says it’s time for you to go. You will leave the place blessed by the local shaman.
Some recommendations: bring warm clothing, mats, and a pillow with a wool cap, as during the ceremony, you may feel cold.
