Then, we cross some snow-capped mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Also, on this drive, we see some living culture, and the arrival to the beginning of the Amazon jungle is amazing as we see waterfalls, cross many bridges, and finally ride the car through the flat jungle for a couple of hours until we reach Puerto Maldonado city.<\/p>\n<p>The second way is by flight from Cusco city to Puerto Maldonado, which takes 54 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Then, from the airport, you need transport to the port of the Madre de Dios river to be transported to the jungle lodge by motorboat, which takes around 35 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the Amazon jungle Puerto Maldonado is famous for some national parks, such as Sandoval Lake and Monkey Island, where we can see some species of Amazon jungle wildlife.<\/p>\n<p>Also, we navigate the famous, biggest river named Madre de Dios, which is 500 meters wide, and along this river, there are lodges with activities like canopy, zip lining, and kayaking.<\/p>\n<h2>3 Days \/ 2 Nights Puerto Maldonado Itinerary<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>DAY 1: Puerto Maldonado \/ Botanical Walk \/ Monkey Island \/ Lodge<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Pickup from the airport or bus station and transfer to the port (Captaincy of the Port). Here, you will see many species of parrots gathered on the riverbank to lick clay, creating a colorful spectacle of flight and sound\u2014an unforgettable experience.
